Video Production Trade Secrets shared in Exclusive Workshops
Ok, so we decided it was time to share some of our wisdom and give the people of Bahrain the 411 on video production. Yes, we’re giving away video production trade secrets in an exclusive workshop. Why? Well, although some might think that video production isn’t a terribly difficult feat, it isn’t a simple point and shoot process either. Believing it is will be a recipe for disaster for your communication piece and you won’t be very popular with your managers ;)
Did you know that there are four phases in the video production process? That sometimes natural light isn’t always enough? And that the success of your entire project lies in the hands of your pre production phase?
These are just a few of the questions we answered during the first Corporate Video Production workshop held on the 2nd and 3rd of November. Attendees were relentlessly taking notes and applying our golden nuggets to the practical segments of the workshop.
The course developed and delivered by Mahmood Al-Yousif, focused not only on understanding video production fundamentals from composition, camera techniques and editing but what really got the room buzzing was the practical portion of the workshop.
After every phase of production discussed, the attendees; who come from various industries, got down to business and racked their brains to come up with a concept that they wanted to produce. At that point they came to realise that producing a concept was more than just pen to paper, camera to subject. It’s about identifying your target, your objective, your tone. Its about knowing the when, who, where and most importantly the how!
The 2 day workshop runs on a monthly basis and has been optimised for 6-9 attendees to ensure that each person gets a go at being a scrip writer, producer, director, cameraman as well as an editor.
Basically we are sharing with you years of experience and know-how so you will have all that you need to confidently go and make some cool videos for your company and yourself too.
Here’s some more inspiration for you: watch what two of the attendees had to say following their two day session.
Here’s a breakdown of the workshop’s contents:
